Burberry comes home: the Winter 2026 campaign shot on the Thames

For Winter 2026, Burberry has returned home, staging its new campaign on the River Thames and letting London itself carry the story. Shot by Glen Luchford, the campaign trades studio polish for something more cinematic: the capital at night, its landmarks and its light, standing in for a runway that was already built in London’s own image.

The campaign picks up directly where the Winter 2026 show left off. That presentation took place inside Old Billingsgate Market, transformed for the occasion with a set inspired by Tower Bridge, Illuminated River, The Battersea Powerstation, London reimagined as its own backdrop before the clothes had even left the runway. The new imagery simply moves that idea outdoors, tracking the collection along the river itself, framed by the city’s most recognisable silhouettes and lit by its skyline after dark.

Fronting the campaign is FKA twigs, also responsible for the voice behind the show’s soundtrack. “FKA twigs represents the energy that makes London unique,” says Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, Daniel Lee. “It’s a place where anything feels possible, and it felt right to return to our home city this season.”

The Hoxton trench coat reappears in silk and in a ruffled-collar version cut from fluid faille, while shawl-collar coats in butter-soft plongé leather bring a similar ease to jumpsuits, kilts and jogging pants cut from the same material. Leather runs throughout as both material and motif, from shearling-collar aviator jackets to a quilted biker, while rainwear is garment-printed and cut in coated jacquard. Trench details resurface elsewhere entirely, leather belts and cuffs on the Linley shearling coat and on brushed mohair wool styles, a throat latch on the wool nylon Rockley pea coat.

Underneath the coats, an artisanal streak runs through the rest of the collection: silk scarf dresses, check jacquard shirts, and tailoring cut from pinstriped grain de poudre wool with peaked lapels in leather that echo the coats above them. Footwear introduces two new archetypes built for the city, the knee-high Pillar for women and the biker-style Kent for men, while accessories bring back the equestrian-inspired Bridle saddle bag, crafted in supple calf leather in solid colours or woven through with the house check.
