The Chanel Spa at the Ritz Paris, reopens

Following four years of heavy renovation, the Parisian institution, once the home of Coco Chanel herself, has now formally reopened its doors. Chanel was a permanent resident of the Ritz for forty years and the Place Vendôme where the hotel is located inspired the design of the famous Chanel Number 5 bottle to the shape of the Chanel watches.

The fantastic brand-new Chanel spa features stunning frescoes, silk fabrics, light touches and a neoclassical swimming pool. Taking inspiration from Coco Chanel’s Rue Cambon’s apartment, it includes five cabins and five massage oils specifically made for the location. They are named after her iconic perfumes (5, 19, 22). Be sure to try the Grand Soin Chanel, which combines the invigoration of facial therapy and the muscle-relaxation of a massage.
