Radiohead to go on tour

Radiohead have officially announced their long-awaited return to live performances with a European tour set for November and December 2025, marking their first concerts in seven years since the conclusion of the A Moon Shaped Pool tour in 2018.

The band will play twenty arena shows across five cities, with four-night residencies in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin.

Dates include November 4–8 at Madrid’s Movistar Arena, November 14–18 at Bologna’s Unipol Arena, November 21–25 at London’s O2 Arena, December 1–5 at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena, and December 8–12 at Berlin’s Uber Arena.

Tickets will be available only through a registration process via Radiohead’s official website (and if you have not received your code by now it will be complicated), with general sales beginning 12 September.

Fans can purchase up to four tickets per person, a system designed to combat scalping and ensure fairer distribution.

While no new album or material has been announced, the band has hinted at preparing a setlist of around seventy songs, with bassist Colin Greenwood describing their approach as having a “busking attitude” and suggesting that performances may draw deeply from across their catalogue.

In recent statements, the members have emphasized that rehearsals felt natural, reminding them of their connection as a band. This run of shows is significant not only because of the seven-year hiatus, the longest break in their touring history, but also because of Radiohead’s enduring influence on music and culture; their return signals both a celebration of their nostalgic work and the possibility of new creative directions (and improvisation maybe?).

Anticipation among fans is intense, with speculation about whether more shows will be added or new songs unveiled. Yorke performed with The Smiles in the meantime, and Marielle and Katia Labèque in 2019 at the Barbican, London.
