DEPECHE MODE by Anton Corbijn for TASCHEN

“Anton was able to give the Depeche Mode sound, that we were beginning to create, a visual identity.” Dave Gahan said about Corbijn’s efforts to shape the Depeche Mode imagery over the years.

TASCHEN publishes a fantastic new title on Depeche Mode supervised by Dutch photographer, filmmaker, and video artist Anton Corbijn. The Collector’s Edition (No. 201–1,986), a real work of art, is each signed by Anton Corbijn and Depeche Mode. The book has been created with the full collaboration of the band, who also share some insights on working with Corbijn.

With over 500 photographs from Corbijn’s personal archives, some never seen before, as well as stage set designs, sketches, album covers, and personal notes from Corbijn, this volume demonstrates the band far-reaching influences on popular culture.

The first two hundred limited editions with an additional signed print have already sold out.
