Dior Homme

Dior seems to pay homage to Prince with this visual. The initial idea of this new line shot by Patrick Demarchelier was to “update the suit with more extreme interpretations” said Kris Van Assche, artistic director of Dior Homme. What he meant by that was adding a series of bold embroidery in the form of lily-of-the-valley flowers, bees and brand symbols, to ‘ornate’ the jackets and make the look a little bit more “relaxed”. Pins and badges, which had previously appeared on the catwalk, continue to be there to break the classic codes of tailoring while at the same time keep the allure classic, elegant and very rock’n’roll.
