LOEWE’s Summer

This summer, LOEWE Perfumes brought a taste of Spain to London with the LOEWE Perfumes Ice Cream Bar, an amazing limited-time takeover of The Dreamery in Islington celebrating the launch of the new LOEWE Pistachio scented candle. The pop-up explored the connection between scent, taste and Spanish heritage, transforming a familiar summer ritual into an exciting experience. It was London’s best spot!

Created in partnership with The Dreamery and its master ice cream makers, the collaboration celebrated a bespoke pistachio ice cream. Available exclusively in the parlour, the limited-edition flavour drew inspiration from the spirit of the new LOEWE Pistachio scented candle, translating its creamy, aromatic qualities into an indulgent frozen creation.

Part of the LOEWE Perfumes Home Scents collection, the candle captures the distinctive aromatic profile of pistachio and its connection to countless sweet creations, with ice cream serving as the starting point for the fragrance. Crafted in Spain using natural wax, the candle is housed in a ribbed terracotta vessel glazed in a soft yet vivid green, recalling the colours of summer. The candle also features the House’s signature Anagram stamped on the base, honouring LOEWE’s ongoing dialogue between craftsmanship and nature.

The setting for this sensory experience, The Dreamery, has quickly established itself as one of north London’s most distinctive destinations for artisanal ice cream. Opened in 2024 within a converted nineteenth-century building, the space was founded by Alex Young and George De Vos, the duo behind natural wine destinations Goodbye Horses and Stable Wines. Known for its imaginative seasonal flavours, from blueberry and ricotta to croissant and custard, the parlour combines culinary experimentation with a carefully considered atmosphere.

For the duration of the collaboration, The Dreamery’s intimate character remains intact while embracing LOEWE’s playful visual universe. Seating around twenty guests, the space is defined by its colourful interiors and crowned by British artist Lucy Stein’s folklore-inspired ceiling mural, painted across illuminated Japanese unryu rice-paper panels alongside drawings at its entrance. The result is an immersive environment where architecture, artistry and taste come together.

Meanwhile, the brand also expanded its visibility with a take over on Playa de Migjorn, Formentera, Balearic Islands, Spain. Until the end of August, Dunas de Formentera is transformed into an immersive sensory destination where architecture, natural textures, and tactile materials create the perfect setting for LOEWE’s new candle.

Earlier this year, LOEWE strengthened its presence in Japan with the opening of a new Casa LOEWE flagship in Tokyo’s Ginza district, following the success of its Omotesando store. Located within the renovated Ginza 888 building, the 965 sqm, four-storey space reflects the brand’s fusion of Spanish heritage, Japanese culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
