Bottega Veneta presents its Autumn 2026 campaign, shot in Venice under the creative direction of Louise Trotter. Captured by British photographer Chris Rhodes, the imagery offers an intimate, unfiltered view of the city, where everyday settings, vintage wallpaper and terrazzo flooring, highlighting the craftsmanship of the collection.
Reimagining Venice through a shifting lens, the campaign moves fluidly between private and public spaces, analogue and digital registers, as well as day and night. These fragments of Venetian life evoke a living, evolving environment in which heritage and contemporary expression continually intersect.
The Autumn 2026 collection reflects the ongoing evolution of Bottega Veneta under Louise Trotter. The Madison shoulder bag, named after the house’s first New York store, is reinterpreted in the original Intrecciato weave. Alongside it, signature silhouettes such as the Barbara tote and Veneta bag are revisited in new seasonal colours and finishes, further expanding the house’s design language.
In Venice for La Biennale, on 6 May, Bottega Veneta hosted a salon event to celebrate If All Time Is Eternally Present, in collaboration with the Pier Luigi Nervi Foundation. The programme brought together artists Tai Shani, Meriem Bennani, Orian Barki, and Kandis Williams with curators Marta Barina and Chiara Carrera in a conversation led by Francesca Gavin. That evening, the exhibition opened at Campo Manin with a public presentation of moving image works, activating the city’s fabric as an extension of the show. The programme concluded on 7 May with a cocktail at Palazzo Soranzo Van Axel, in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth, marking the opening of Lorna Simpson: Third Person by Lorna Simpson.
