180 The Strand extends LUX

180 The Strand, the edgiest, industrial-feel exhibition and experiential space in London extends its groundbreaking show titled LUX until 6 February 2022, allowing last-minute visitors to engage with remarkable video, sound and moving image-activated works.

Curated by SUUM in collaboration with Fact and 180 Studios, LUX brings together 12 renowned artists to blur the lines between physical and virtual worlds.

“The artists in LUX are working at the very cutting-edge of digital technologies, using artificial intelligence, generative and interactive algorithms, dimensional sound and optical illusion to create a new kind of artistic experiences” says Dr Jiyoon Lee, LUX Curator and Director of SUUM Project.

LUX features new 180 Studios Commissions from Es Devlin who has collaborated with everyone from Chanel to Beyoncé, Hito Steyerl and Julian Knxx alongside the UK premiere of ‘Renaissance Generative Dreams’ by Refik Anadol, and incredible works by Carsten Nicolai, a’strict, Cao Yuxi, Cecilia Bengolea and Universal Everything’s ever changing moving vivid character. Expect an explosion of sensory stimulation and captivating visuals.
