Prada Autumn / Winter 21 by Raf Simons and Miuccia

The Prada Fall/Winter 2021 Menswear collection was presented yesterday. The design and decor reflected the inspiration: the need to physically reconnect and feel again. Conceived by Rem Koolhaas and AMO, the show’s architecture featured an imaginary structure made of marble, resin, plaster and faux fur, equally conveying freedom. The freedom of the body encapsulated by the dramatic clothes and the freedom to move around were the leitmotiv of this inaugural menswear collection designed by both Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.

Resonating with the idea of tactility and the lack of sensory stimulation, resulting from the covid crisis, geometric-patterned jacquard knits and leathers are juxtaposed with re-nylon, bouclé tweeds and classic pinstripe wool suiting, in both traditional and unexpected colours.
