European Artists map by Maps International & The National Gallery

The National Gallery, London has partnered with master cartographers, Maps International, Lovell Johns, to present a stunning scratch map revealing the most important works from the National Gallery’s collection.

A geographic grouping and art history-teaching tool, this unique scratch print features 13 works by European artists. From Monet’s garden at Giverny representing France, Turner’s mist for the UK to the Renaissance portrait of The Ambassadors by Hans Holbein the Younger for Germany, and the shimmering waters of Lake Keitele by Akseli Gallen-Kallela, “a vision of Finland”.
