Steven Meisel shoots God’s own country‘s star actor Josh O’Connor in Loewe’s new campaign. This visual follows the announcement of the young actor named as the face of the Spanish brand.
Supervised by Loewe‘s brilliant artistic Jonathan Anderson, 5000 posters will be displayed in the streets of Paris during Fashion Week. The gorgeous visuals features O’Connor casually reading Flaubert’s Madame Bovary, the anti-heroine from the controversial 19th-century masterpiece, in yellow, brown and beige colours reminiscing of summer’s sun. Later this year, Loewe will release a series of literary classics, all featuring iconic Meisel sleeves specifically re-imangined for the fashion collection, something’s no one done before.
