This September, Motor Village in Wigmore Street, Marylebone will feature an exhibition of photographs, paintings and sculptures that will celebrate the late David Bowie. Works by artists including Rankin, Guido Harari, Von Hugo and Lincoln Townley will be included in the exhibition.
Organised and curated by dealer Monica Colussi, the exhibition is meant to “salute Bowie while also adding to his legacy and cult”. It will coincide with the launch of Jones’s book “David Bowie: A Life”, which features “never-before-seen material from Bowie himself, drawn from a series of Jones’s interviews with him across two decades”. Jones dug into his own archives to produce this new title.
Bowie died in January last year aged 69 after a secret battle with cancer, days after the release of his 25th album, Blackstar.
