Francis Picabia: MoMA’s first-ever monographic exhibition


Francis Picabia: Our Heads Are Round so Our Thoughts Can Change Direction is the first major exhibition in the U.S. to examine Picabia’s pioneering and prolific career. MoMA’s first-ever monographic exhibition of the artist,  brings together around 200 works including some 125 paintings, key works on paper, periodicals and printed matter, illustrated letters, and one film. The show, running until 19 March 2017 explores the artist’s critical place in the history of 20th-century art.
