The Vitra Design Museum presents a comprehensive overview of the Bauhaus design until 28th February 2016. The exhibition encompasses a multiplicity of rare, in some cases never-before-seen pieces from the fields of design, architecture, art, film and photography. The exhibition juxtaposes the design of the Bauhaus with current challenges in design and confronts viewpoints with the works of contemporary designers, artists and architects. The show highlights the relevance of a legendary school. The exhibition features works by Marianne Brandt, Marcel Breuer, Lyonel Feininger, Walter Gropius, Wassily Kandinsky and many more. Contemporary participants include the works of Olaf Nicolai, Adrian Sauer, Enzo Mari, Lord Norman Foster, Opendesk, Konstantin Grcic, Hella Jongerius, Alberto Meda and Jerszy Seymour.
