Prada Foundation to open in Milan

Combining seven former industrial structures dating back to the 1910s with three new buildings designed by Rem Koolhaas (who also designed the fashion house’s New York City flagship store), the new Prada art center in Milan, located in the south of the city in the industrial Largo Isarco will house a cinema, library, museum, and large exhibition space on more than 205,000 square footage. The space will play host to symposiums, performances, and art exhibits. Get ready, the opening has been announced to May 2015 to coincide with the Venice Biennale.
