Radical Nude, an exhibition running at the Courtauld Gallery in London until 18 January 2015 brings together a group of 30 of Egon Schiele’s nudes to chart his ground-breaking approach during his short career. It is the first-ever solo Schiele show presented by a British institution. Schiele remains one of the the most important artists of the early 20th century and a central figure of Austrian Expressionism.
Schiele’s technical virtuosity, highly original vision and unflinching depictions of the naked figure distinguish these works as being among his most significant contributions to the development of modern art. Don’t miss this exhibition!
