The Miss Dior exhibition, curated by Hervé Mikaeloff opens at the Grand Palais (Galerie Courbe), in Paris, on 12 November and presents, for the first time works by 15 female artists (Polly Apfelbaum, Carole Benzaken, Lee Bul, Maria Nepomuceno, Shirin Neshat and Tomoko Shioyasu, among others) inspired by Dior’s leading fragrance.

Joana Vasconcelos is one of them. J’Adore Miss Dior, Joana’s work, features an enormous golden bow, filled by thousands of illuminated flasks of the famous J’Adore perfume, as a tribute to Miss Dior, the brand’s first fragrance.

Each piece will be displayed in front of one of Dior’s iconic dresses, in Joana’s case  the Concerto (1957).
