Rosemarie Trockel: A Cosmos

Rosemarie Trockel at the serpentine gallery.jpg

In A Cosmos, German artist Rosemarie Trockel, known for her wide-ranging career spanning more than thirty years, places her work next to objects and artefacts with which she feels an affinity. Central to the Serpentine Gallery exhibition  are a number of new works by Trockel but also by self-taught artists such as Judith Scott and James Castle.

The exhibition, on view until 7 April 2013, reflects the artists’ interest in creating a space for ideas to exist between different disciplines, past and present.
