Chanel and specifically Karl Lagerfeld put on another spectacular show under the glass roof of the Grand Palais. This time, buyers, clients and VIPs were invited on La Pausa, a giant Chanel ship which later served as a post-catwalk party venue. Named “La Pausa” after the villa in the South of France once owned by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, the set was very impressive.
The collection referenced Coco Chanel’s famous “vocabulary” made of stripes, tweed, camelia and pastel colours. Karl’s genius shines again with this amazing event, closer to an “experience” than a fashion show.
