Burberry’s dramatic stage

For its Autumn/Winter 2026 show at Old Billingsgate Market, Burberry, led by creative director Daniel Lee, transformed the runway into a striking homage to London, a city in constant motion, where scaffolding and industrial mesh draped over reimagined landmarks mirrored the energy of the collection itself. Tower Bridge was literally recreated to welcome guests, setting the tone for an urban spectacle.

The set was more than backdrop; it became fully part of the show. Architectural forms were fragmented and layered into a living cityscape, capturing London’s restless spirit. Towers and structures peeked from behind industrial veils, conjuring a metropolis perpetually under construction.

Against this raw, kinetic backdrop, Burberry’s meditation on British identity resonated strongly. Heritage and modernity collided, intertwined, and evolved together, reflecting a city rooted in history, much like the presented on the catwalk.
