Soshiotsuki, Torishéju and Steve O Smith, winners of the LVMH Prize

The 2025 LVMH Prize celebrated the best in global fashion talents. Ultimately, three designers took home the prizes at a ceremony in Paris. Japanese designer Soshi Otsuki won the main LVMH Prize, earning €400,000 and a year-long mentorship. Otsuki, a Bunka Fashion College graduate, founded his eponymous label in 2015 and draws inspiration from Japanese classical performing arts, transforming tradition into contemporary fashion through meticulous craftsmanship.

British designer Torishéju Dumi received the Savoir-Faire Prize, while Amsterdam-born Steve O Smith won the Karl Lagerfeld Prize. Both received €200,000 and mentorship from LVMH teams. O Smith is known for ‘drawing on dresses’ and his style is unique. It was recently worn by Eddie Redmayne for the MET Gala.

The winners were chosen by a star-studded jury, including Dior’s Jonathan Anderson, Givenchy’s Sarah Burton, Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Phoebe Philo, Nigo, Stella McCartney, and Silvia Venturini Fendi.
