“The beauty of all women inspires me, including my team,”. This is how Givenchy’s creative director Sarah Burton described her inspiration for the newly-released campaign. “I wanted to capture the brilliant women I work with among the cast, real moments of everyone working together.”
For the new Givenchy campaign, Burton invited her long-time collaborators to both contribute and shoot them. Stylist Camilla Nickerson and makeup artist Lucia Pieroni join the cast alongside photographer Collier Schorr herself, with the imagery capturing candid exchanges, conversations, and unposed gestures. The project was brought to life with creative direction by Ferdinando Verderi, hair by Olivier Schawalder, nails by Ama Quashie, and casting by Jess Hallett.
Models Adut Akech, Vittoria Ceretti, Nyaduola Gabriel, Kaia Gerber, Eva Herzigova, Emeline Hoareau, and Liu Wen strike a pose in these gorgeous new visuals. The campaign spans a spectrum of looks, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of the French house’s archive.
British designer Sarah Burton presented her first collection for Givenchy in March 2025, according to the brand’s website. Burton graduated from London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 1997 then rose up the ranks of Alexander McQueen, stepping into the role of creative director at the label in 2010. Burton was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to the British Fashion industry in 2012 and left Alexander McQueen in October 2023.
