R.I.P creative genius David Lynch

In heartbreaking news for the film and art world, David Lynch, the legendary filmmaker and artist behind Muholland Drive, Lost Highway, Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet, has passed away at the age of 78.

Lynch’s family announced the news via a Facebook post, stating, “It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of David Lynch—the man, the artist, and the visionary. The world feels emptier without him, but as he often said, ‘Keep your eye on the donut, not on the hole.’”

While no official cause has been disclosed, Lynch had shared in 2024 that he was battling emphysema after a lifetime of smoking. His loss leaves an indelible void in the creative landscape he so uniquely shaped.
