Copperfield is an independent contemporary art gallery in South London and from 29 November 2024 to 22 February 2025, the space will present an exhibition of new works by artists Marco Godoy & Daniel de Paula.

The artists have been in contact ever since they met while spending time together in the heart of the Bolivian rain forest for a residency project. Both have a long-standing interest in the structures of power and economic systems.

As Godoy considers the direct human relations of power and communication in his work, de Paula takes visitors into contact with some of the most technical, dehumanised, but ultimately human-made means by which communication continues now at a fraction of the time. The exhibition spans sculptures, paintings, and installations and will be a highlight of the cultural calendar.
