From 26 September, 2024 to January 5, 2025, la Galerie du 19M celebrates a century of exceptional embroidery and weaving excellence. Founded in 1924, the house has played a major role in the history of haute couture and fashion. It has worked with the most prestigious designers and talents across the full spectrum of design and interiors. 

The exhibition “Lesage, 100 years of fashion and decoration” celebrates one hundred years of excellence and innovation. It features new artistic forms that have arisen from the merging of embroidery with other media, as well as new collaborations with contemporary creators in the fields of fashion, visual arts, decoration, and spatial and object design, among others.

The exhibition showcases pieces of artistic craftsmanship created for haute couture houses that are exceptional in their technical virtuosity. An instructive and detailed overview of the techniques, gestures, and steps into the creative process, this remarkable exhibition immerses visitors into the heritage of Lesage.

The set design, capsule video and archival materials, help visitors discover the house’s history. They provide behind-the-scenes understanding of the craftsmanship and beauty that Lesage has produced over the years. These, pay tribute to the work of its artisans, the power of the creative dialogue between Lesage and its most prestigious clients, and the wealth of its heritage.
