Helen Frankenthaler: Prints 1977–2004 is featured at STPI Creative Workshop & Gallery, Singapore and it’s on view until 25th August. With nearly fourty prints by the artist from the National Collection of Singapore and the collection of the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, New York, the exhibition explores Frankenthaler’s influential and collaborative twenty-six-year-long partnership with American master printer Kenneth Tyler, who would later become a significant figure in the establishment of STPI. The show includes Gateway (1982–88), an ambitious work—comprised of twelve unique editions—that combines bronze casting, painting on bronze, and printmaking. It’s one of this summer’s global highlights.
