This is the campaign of the Summer. Sabato de Sarno, Gucci’s new Artistic Director will be unveiling his first collection for the Italian house on Friday, September 22 in Milan. Last weekend, by way of an Instagram post on his personal account, he teased his highly-awaited show featuring Daria Werbowy started at the same time as the designer before becoming one of the most important models of all time, and the face of Phoebe Philo’s campaigns. The visual, shot by photographer David Sims and styled by Alastair McKimm, features Werbowy curled up next to the pool at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont hotel wearing oversized, gold statement earrings and black bikini briefs. We can’t wait to see more of Gucci’s new visual identity and the first collection. A trip down memory lane for both Gucci’s new artistic designer and the famous model who took a seven year hiatus in her career. What a comeback!
