Electrop pop superstar Alison Goldfrapp returns with the launch of a new album titled The Love Invention as a cd, vinyl and all streaming platforms and accompanying merchandise.

She said: “I’m so happy to finally announce that my debut solo album ‘The Love Invention’ will be out on 12th May. This is my tribute to the dance floor and it’s been so liberating to make. On this album, you’ll be able to hear the originals of the teasers that have already been released…plus many more including my first single ‘SO HARD SO HOT’ which is available now ! I can’t wait for you to hear.”

The singer also announced new tour dates revealed in the coming weeks. Goldfrapp has explored a range of musical styles in their amazing albums which include Black Cherry, Tales of Us and Supernature with so many hits are characterised by Alison Goldfrapp’s distinctive breathy, soft soprano vocals and Will Gregory’s multi-layered synthesiser and string arrangements. This time Alison comes back on her own with catchy songs made for the dancefloor and a vibrant cover with 80s reminiscent visuals.
