The Dutch duo Viktor&Rolf never fail to impress. They are one of my favourite designers ever! Yesterday’s show proved amazing with a presentation that was closer to an art performance rather than a traditional fashion catwalk.
Models walked out wearing dresses made out of dripping paint, frames and canvas while the designers were deconstructing the artworks/dresses and hung them on the walls of the white cube/gallery. It was very impressive. This art-inspired presentation followed their previous collection which was dedicated to Dutch painter Van Gogh. The designers have always blurred the line between contemporary art and fashion (remember that Barbican exhibition in London?).

And if the presentation of the Fall Winter 2015 collection wasn’t succesful enough, Viktor&Rolf celebrated the same night the 10th anniversary of their L’Oréal-sponsored fragrance, Flowerbomb with the musical goddess / genius Tori Amos!
Tori is a close friend of Viktor&Rolf and she performed with them in the past, in 2005. Such a great way to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
